Newly restored apartment, part of a large stone-built townhouse (one of four apartments) built back in the late 1800s by Ottomans who used to live in Crete. The apartment is on the ground floor and designed in a traditional "island-like" style with some blended modern touches. It is a one-bedroom apartment (about 45 sqm) that sleeps up to 4 people (a queen size bed in the bedroom and two sofa beds in the main space). Most of the furniture is hand-made. The neighborhood is in the historical old town part characterized by narrow streets with no car traffic. The neighborhood has a very rich history dating back to the glorious Venetian period. It is 2 min walk from the central square of the city (Liberty Square) and a few minutes walk from all other major sightseeings. Although right at the heart of the city, because of the narrow streets, the neighborhood is very quiet making one feel they are in a village.

Having lived abroad in several countries over the last 26 years, I love interacting with people from different countries.
