Travel Details from the host -> My name is Tanja. My passion was to travel the whole world to get to know other cultures. I was and still am interested in learning new languages. In the past in order to be able to get in touch at least a little bit with the locals on my journeys and nowadays with our guests. I decided to turn my hobby into my profession and I have now been in tourism for 30 years. After working at airports, hotels and also as a tour guide my dream came true. Together with my husband Georgios we opened “Casa Belvedere“ in his home village Kournas. We tried to create a unique, warm place that reflects our attitude. We would like to feel our guests welcomed and well cared from the first moment of their arrival. It is our aim to show them the local culture, how daily life in a greek village is affected by the rhythm of the seasons and the traditional festivals, to explain the local dishes and also give them ideas where to discover small, but not less impressive sights. With one word to make it an easy start to dive into the greek „lifestyle“. In the hope to continue enlarging the number of friendships with our guests, we are motivated and ready for the future that is coming. Το όνομά μου είναι Τάνια. Το πάθος μου ήταν να ταξιδεύω σε όλο τον κόσμο για να γνωρίσω άλλους πολιτισμούς. Χόμπι μου είναι η εκμάθηση νέων γλωσσών, για να μπορέσω να έρθω σε επαφή με τους ντόπιους στα ταξίδια μου αλλά και σήμερα με τους επισκέπτες μας. Αποφάσισα να μετατρέψω το χόμπι μου στο επάγγελμά μου και τώρα είμαι στον τουρισμό εδώ και 30 χρόνια. Αφού δούλεψα σε αεροδρόμια, ξενοδοχεία και επίσης ως ξεναγός το όνειρό μου έγινε πραγματικότητα. Μαζί με τον σύζυγό μου Γεώργιο ανοίξαμε το "Casa Belvedere" στο χωριό του Κουρνά. Προσπαθήσαμε να δημιουργήσουμε ένα μοναδικό, ζεστό μέρος που αντικατοπτρίζει τη στάση μας. Θα θέλαμε να νιώσετε ότι είστε ευπρόσδεκτοι από την πρώτη στιγμή της άφιξής σας. Στόχος μας είναι να σας δείξουμε τον τοπικό πολιτισμό, πώς επηρεάζεται η καθημερινή ζωή σε ένα ελληνικό χωριό από το ρυθμό των εποχών και των παραδοσιακών πανηγυριών, να σας εξηγήσουμε τα τοπικά πιάτα και να σας δώσουμε ιδέες για το πού θα ανακαλύψετε μικρά, αλλά όχι λιγότερο εντυπωσιακά αξιοθέατα. Με μια λέξη, θέλουμε να σας προσφέρουμε ένα εύκολο ξεκίνημα για να βουτήξετε στον ελληνικό "τρόπο ζωής". Με την ελπίδα να συνεχίσουμε να διευρύνουμε τον βαθμό φιλίας με τους επισκέπτες μας, είμαστε έτοιμοι για το μέλλον που έρχεται.
