The room is in a spacious flat located on the 5th floor of a typical 60s apartment block in Kypseli, very near the city center. It has a double bed and a small wardrobe. The flat consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony and at the moment we are two flatmates and a cat living here.
The space
You are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare breakfast or a light meal and then enjoy it at the balcony. The views are not great, but you can have a panoramic glimpse of the city from the communal terrace just above the flat, with Acropolis, Lecabetus Hill and the infamous tv antennas of the Athenian skyscape...
Other things to note
At the moment there are two girls living in the flat, me and my flatmate. There is also a cat living in the flat so bare that in mind if you are allergic.

It used to be an up-market area once (30s-60s) and among the 60s cement block apartment (alas, mine is one of them) you will still find some of the finest examples of athenian 20s-40s architecture, especially art deco and modernism.
Kypseli also offers numerous option to eat out, both with greek and ethnic cuisine, lots of cafes and cosy bars. (plus a legendery underground discoteque for winter)
