Pagrati is a very popular and vibrant neighbourhood in central Athens, near the first modern Olympics (Panathinaikon) Stadium, the Greek National Gallery and the soon opening Goulandris Museum of Art.
The Evaggelismos Metro station, the splendid Panathinaikon Stadium and the emblematic Hilton hotel are a 5-10 minute walk away, a 15 minute walk gets you to posh Kolonaki and a 20 minutes sightseeing walk through the National Garden gets you to Syntagma square and the bustling downtown.

Travel Details from the host An athenian by choice, I love the city's downtown vibe. I like all that Athens has to offer, the weather, its sky, the local food, its classical heritage. I also love 60s athenian architecture, so meeting with people from around the world and showing them the city and its treasures is always fun :)
