After setting the scene with all the latest news and insider information, we set off into the world of Royalty. Pausing in London’s largest and most important square, we discover the monumental significance of Admiral Nelson’s victory at Trafalgar in the war of trade on the High Seas. And what they did with the Admiral’s body on his untimely death... But where are square’s famous the pigeons? Find out about their grizzly fate.

We continue down Whitehall, seat of government and home to the Prime Minister in Downing Street, and pause for photos of the mounted soldiers outside House Guards.

Next to the statue of the wartime Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, we discover some of the more quirky features of one of the world’s oldest parliaments - or the Palace of Westminster as it is known. And why it is forbidden to call anyone by name there!?

Passing by the nation's Coronation Church, Westminster Abbey, there are stories of a history stretching back over a thousand years. The focus of the nation’s joy - and sorrow -, this splendid medieval masterpiece has played host to the wedding of William and Kate, Queen Elizabeth II’s own coronation day and the funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales.

After a pleasant stroll through St James's Park, we reach Buckingham Palace, otherwise known as the Queen’s ‘office’. We will be just in time to get best viewpoint of the guards marching past, busby fur hats high, resplendent in their blues and reds, playing their instruments as they march to the Changing of the Guard.

Enjoying a stroll away from the traffic through the delightful St James’ park, we uncover the secrets of an English Landscape garden including the secret source of the water for the pond in the middle of the park. Then it's off into the quiet and tourist-free back streets where we’ll discover a quieter London, similar to the one author Charles Dickens would have recognised over 100 years ago. And here you’ll learn how to spot where the Royals go shopping!
