Travel Details from the host -> A Human Rights and gender equality activist, a fan of life-long learning, enjoying reading, writing, painting, music (classic and modern). Political science, gender advocacy & leadership coatching is my main profession (Ph.D). I enjoy the society of my friends and relatives, good mediterranean food and BQ parties, as well as the cultural events of Syros, the concerts, museums, excibitions, dancing and swimming in the crystal sea waters of the Aegean. Following Socrates’ philosophy, I started quite early “examining” my life and searching for Aristotelis "good life". It seems that this ideal has brought me to Syros and to Chroussa, in the late 80s. I was fascinated by the picturesque village, the beauty of the lush green, the sunny hills, the pines, the view of the sea and the nearby Mykonos & Paros islands, the footpaths and the serenity of the place. So I came back. I felt very happy when, in 1987, I was able to buy this land of 4.500m2, with the ruined stone buildings of the 19th century, two of which I have renovated. As a nature and animal lover I have lived many happy and relaxed summers here, following the rhythms of nature. For those who want to relax at a place that offers natural beauty and tranquility, only 2klm away from the sandy beach and without feeling isolated from the modern world, my place offers the ideal environment.
