The space
This is a beautiful sea front villa, located at Tersanas, with its own private pool and a magnificent view of the endless blue sea. The villa consists of seven bedrooms and it can host up to 14 people. The surroundings of the villa and its outdoor spaces will certainly enchant the visitors with the very attractive and well-maintained terraces and gardens, their beautiful flowers and herbs, the lawn near the large built-in barbecue and it's prime dining area. But the best of all is the pool (45 m²) which stands exactly above the sea thus making a magical sunset. The major advantage of the villa is the fact that it lies on three levels and for this exact reason it allows guests to have privacy while enjoying their vacation with family and friends. in area-Stavros, GreeceTersanas is a small seaside village with a lovely, sheltered sandy beach. There are a few tavernas and small supermarket but within 1km the village of Horafakia has tavernas, and a couple of supermarkets.
Not too far away are the lovely beaches of Kalathas and Stavros. Stavros has an excellent sheltered sandy beach and is perfect for children. The famous cave of Leras is where Zorbas visited his friend Kazantzakis in the film ‘Zorbas the Greek’, and the stone house at the side of the beach was the home of Madame Ortance.
Tersanas is only 12kms from Chania, the region′s capital city, and with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and beautiful Venetian harbour with characteristic pretty narrow streets, plentiful tavernas, cafes and shops, a visit to Chania should be near the top of any list of things to see and do whilst in the area.
