MELOI BEACH is truly Beautiful, it is a keyhole shaped bay which is about 1km long before you get into open water. This makes for safe swimming with no rip currents. It is one of the few Patmian beaches with a combination of sand and shade trees. The Beach is often protected from winds. Being 2km to the PORT and SKALA town and the fact it is protected and shaded, it can become very popular, especially in summer. MELOI BAY is rather underdeveloped compared to other areas on the island and still has a Rural and Rustic Charm, and is usually quiet and peaceful, considering it's closeness to town. On the other side of the house is ASPRI BEACH, Aspri is a smaller beach, a little lesser known, yet packing a fantastic view. It is also good if it is windy. From here you can swim with views of the Monastery and CHORA Town high on the hill.
