The capital city of Chania is located in west Crete. The city boasts of its old port which is one of the most sought-after spots on the island. The whole port has been built by the Venetians and its major landmarks are the lighthouse at the entrance of the port and Firkas fortress. Many museums, churches, Byzantine monasteries, Minoan ruins are some of the attractions and places of interest near the city.

Our house is sited in the heart of the Old Town, just 1 min from the edge of the sea in the old port! Small alleys, old Venetian manors, ottoman houses, flowered verandas and balconies, myths, and urban legends revive a picturesque wander
