In the heart of Chora, the medieval village of Amorgos, a lovely lime-painted stone house emerges for a restful holiday immersed in a traditional and ancient climate.
Right in the center of the island, to kotetsi is located near the port of Katapola and it is surrounded by several trekking paths and local cultural attractions. Through short walk immersed in nature it is possible to reach the most suggestive seasides of the island.

The space
The house is part of the ancient stone buildings of Chora, the heart of the island. It has recently been restored aiming to remain faithful to the ancient architecture of the time and enhancing the local atmosphere.

To Kotetsi is accessed by a small private courtyard where there is an external restroom equipped with a recessed stone shower, wc with hydrobrush and a sink.

In the courtyard there is a tiny dining table, a washing machine hidden in masonry and an area used for drying clothes.

The house is in one of the oldest parts of Chora which was initially built in the shadow of Castro, the rock on which the Chora rests, in order not to be seen by any pirates at sea. The area is called Katolachos and takes its name from an old roman cistern that served many of the village's houses at the time.
Next to the house there are the old island oil mill and the Tholos, an ancient building of the old village. It is a very quiet and central area where you can still enjoy one of the most traditional atmospheres of the village and breathbreaking sunsets.
