Light, Green & Private are the words that describe the experience of staying in Calliope's Villa. Our residence is a neoclassical house, in which during the complete renovation we kept its special character. It is located centrally in the town of Kissamos, in a very quiet neighborhood where the neoclassical houses dominate. There is a raised veranda at the front, and a large garden extends into the backyard, with trees, plants and herbs bringing you in touch with nature.

Apart from our main building, a little house at the back will pleasantly surprise you! This Bonus helping space has a roomy shower, a laundry space and a kitchenette. It is directly accessible from the backyard.

The house is located in an extremely privileged and attractive location, at a central point for your trips to the city of Kissamos, near the main road that connects all the popular spots of Western Crete, whose coasts are the most beautiful in whole Crete.

Kissamos has got very nice beaches with clean waters, organised, children-friendly, and they can be located from 700 m to 1.5 km from our house. This is approximately 10-20 minutes on foot, it depends on which one you will choose to go.

The garden is also closed and restricted to all sides. A kid can play with no fear of getting hurt. Just be extra careful on the stairs until you reach the garden; once in the garden, especially at the back, it is very safe.

As far as the every day living is concerned, everything is in a walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes, super market, bakery, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants etc, as the villa is actually located very close to the city centre.

Travel Details from the host -> After completing my first degree in Greece I took the opportunity to study and work abroad for over 10 years, where I made many friends of different nationalities and cultures. Having the privilege to be born in Crete, a well worthy destination to visit, enabled me to invite and host many of them at my family house in Kissamos. Recently, I renovated my family home, so I thought that renting it, would be a great opportunity for me to meet new people and also for my guests to enjoy the unique beauties of Western Crete and the Cretan hospitality!
