Neighborbood Overview:

The up-and-coming Highland Park area is a quaint, low-slung swath of early century houses bathing in sun and air along the ramping approach to Highland Park and Ridgewood Reservoir. One of the highest points in Brooklyn, The Ridgewood featured prominently in The Revolutionary War and if you are very interested in history ask me to show you the Battle of Brooklyn relic I dug up in my backyard! Today the neighborhood is a vibrant mix of Caribbean, Central and South American families and newly arriving gentrifiiers.
