Oxfordshire is one of the most beautiful places in the UK. With their warm, sunny days and cool, crisp nights, you'll be able to enjoy a walk or a picnic throughout the year. Oxford's historic penitentiary is also worth checking out. The highlight of this private tour is Bicester Village. Bicester Village is a combination of shopping, dining, and entertainment that offers a unique experience for visitors. This central location is only minutes away from the M40 motorway, making it easily accessible by car or public transport. This location is also very close to the site of a former power station. The 12.5-hectare site in Oxford, England started life as a coal-fired power station in 1935. In 1962 the Northampton Borough Council purchased the plant and eventually transformed it into a shopping center in 1979 which became known as Bicester Village, after its neighboring town of Bicester. The tour will take approximately 8 hours to complete and includes time for lunch at a local pub.
