At the heart of the old village of Montmartre this small cosy nest is the ideal place for a romantic stay.
This studio overhangs the garden of the "Bateau Lavoir" the artist studio where Pablo Picasso painted the "Young ladies of Avignon" in 1907.

The space
My 20 m2 studio consists of a kitchen area, and a living space. There are an electric cooktop, one microwaves, kettle, toaster, refrigerator, hairdryer, television and internet access.
The shower is in the kitchen. The kitchen and the toilets have windows overhanging the garden of the Bateau-Lavoir.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a small cabinet with a wash-hand basin and one toilets.

The studio is facing south on the garden side and North onto a paved side street with artists' gallery.
I prefer stays of 3/4 days minimum.

Neighborbood Overview:

The bohemian street and its small gardens is 2 steps of the Millwind, just in the angle of the Place Emile Goudeau and of its Wallace fountain, very typical of the Montmartre. It is near the Grocer's shop of Mister Colignon celebrated by the international success of the movie "Amélie Poulain".

The studio is located at 2 minutes of the Place Du Tertre and its painters.
Numerous painter lived in Montmartre: Picasso, Utrillo, Renoir, Monet, Toulouse Lautrec, Van Gogh and some other artists.
It will take you 5 minutes walking up the hill to reach "La Basilique du Sacré-coeur " that offers an exceptional panoramic view of Paris.
Also in less than 5 minutes on the other side there is one of the most typical of cabarets from Montmartre, the "Agile Rabbit" and last authentic vineyards.
You are looking for "Le Moulin Rouge" ? It is only 5 minutes down the hill.
