The space
The neighborhood of our flat is very lively as it is located at the intersection of Oberkampf (the emerging district of Paris right bank), le Marais (which is renowned for its nice atmosphere especially on weekends) and Grands Boulevards (the highlight of Paris for shopping and going out). However the flat is quiet, located on the 4th floor and overlooking a street with very little traffic.
The flat is close to many shops and amenities, and it is ideally located transportwise: metro lines 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11 at République station (7 minutes walk), and metro lines 5 at Jacques Bonsergent station (1 minute walk). Almost all districts and sightseeing places of Paris are accessible by these metro lines.
