The space
My loft with view of Paris rooftops was renovated in 2017. It's very quiet day and night and it's a ten minutes walk to the Marais. Love the Marais but the real Parisians don't live there. They live 10-20 minutes walk to the east and north in the 11th & 10th arrondissements respectively.

The hip and trendy cafes line Rue Faubourg St. Denis 50 feet around the corner, like the Urfa Dürüm Turkish cafe Anthony Bourdain filmed for the Travel Channel plus Paris-New York Burger, Le 52 innovative dining. Four organic groceries within five minute walk: La Vie Claire, Bio C Bon & Carrefour Bio. These is where the real Parisians live and eat good food at good prices. One of the best artisan frommageries in Paris "TAKA & VERMO" is right around the corner. The covered market "Marché St. Martin", Coutume's coffee roasters/tasting room, gluten free bakery ONYRIZA, Jules' 5 gourmet shops distillery-bakery-coffee roasterie-deli are less than a five-minute walk.

In 2018 I taught Airbnb guests how to enjoy French chocolate in Paris. Since 2019 I'm back home in Seattle doing internal audit with a global video game company based in Kyoto.
