Neighborbood Overview:

The apartment is located in a very beautiful street just below the Sacré Coeur Basilica, one minute walk from the rue des Abbesses and the Moulin de la Galette. 5/10 minutes from the Montmartre funicular with many typical French grocery stores, food and cheese shops, wine shops, bakeries (twice awarded for the best baguette in Paris in 2010, 2011 and 2015) and many cafes with terraces, French bistros, bars and restaurants.

Only three minutes walk from the metro stations (Anvers line 2 or Abbesses line 12) and the main tourist places (Moulin Rouge, Sacré-Coeur Basilica, Place du Tertre, Montmartre stairs, etc...).

Being in the heart of Montmartre (but quiet), all the shops are within easy reach. The Montmartre bus (stop at the foot of the building) allows you to go around the neighborhood. And for the nostalgic, Van Gogh lived and painted in the adjoining building.
