Only a short drive is the ferry port of the island (Korissia) with all amenities and from there the Xora - Ioulida - is one of the most picturesque in the Cyclades.
As well as the many great beaches in Kea, there are some beautiful ancient walking trails around the island; archeological sites such as Ancient Karthea, and a well-stocked museum; boat and bike hire options; Padi-suba diving; watersports; an outdoor cinema and much more.
