This is an active traditional village surrounded by lemons, orange and olive groves, away from the tourist trail. Tucked away in the corner of the village, this house has a lovely atmosphere. We restored this house in an authentic village style, which creates a lovely peace and space to breathe from the strains of life.

The space
As you step into this charming open plan space with the dramatic arch at it's center, where ever you are in the room you enjoy a great view. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to self cater with basic items always stocked for your use.
Lounging by the fireplace with candles lit, with a smart TV to enjoy, or plenty of games to engage in, you will enjoy this unique experience for sure.

The vegetable van, and the fish monger drive by the front door some mornings each week bringing delicious fresh local food right to your doorstep. You won't miss their noisy arrival, just simply pluck up the confidence to get out there and everyone will be friendly and helpful when you do.
I love that you can walk down the street into the center of the village and eat hearty Greek food and drink ouzo with the locals, and buy that tasty piece of Baklava to treat yourself to later on back at home.
It is a fabulous safe environment to send your kids to the village shops for you too.

Travel Details from the host -> Hi, I am presently a Holiday property owner & Yoga Teacher of many years in Rhodes and the UK. I am also an environmental Interior Designer. The houses in Rhodes were renovated by my myself and we lived there for many years before returning to the UK. We love the peace and quiet in the village and retreating into our cosy spaces when we are there. The house in Formby is our main dwelling but as we regularly spend time in Rhodes this is also available for holiday rental use.
