Abela village is quiet and relaxing and just over the hill from busier Megalos Gialos which has a great small well-stocked shop for essentials. The best taverna in Syros is right on the beach at Abela but if you prefer to cook the kitchenette is fully stocked. There is free wireless internet and flat screen TV.
