This studio has its own entrance and huge, private balcony with view of Souda Bay. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, cooking appliance and all the tools and dishes needed for quick and easy meals. Linens and towels are included.

Heraklion Airport is about 2 hours by car.

We also have our own little private pebble beach - 10 minutes walk

Above Akrimios is the village of Aptera. It is a ten minute walk or three minutes by car and has three spacious tavernas with views towards the White Mountains. There is also a small mini-market here. Ten minutes by car is the sea-side town of Kalives with its large IN.KA supermarket, great beaches and multitude of excellent tavernas. A bit further down the coast is the charming resort of Almyritha, with a lovely beach and outstanding tavernas. Of course the beautiful Venetian city of Chania is only fifteen minutes drive.

Travel Details from the host -> In 1979, I left my home in Austria in search of life’s deeper meaning. My search led me to Crete, where my free spirit took root, finding solid ground with my Cretan husband and four children. In addition to our organic farm, the family owns and runs Akrimios. Akrimios-Orizon is more than just an attractive, family run small hotel. This is also the place where I established Orizon Spiritual Center, where the spirit is still free to roam. Involved with spiritual healing and teachings all my life, I have been in contact with various methods of healing from a young age. Since then I have integrated love and harmony into all aspects of my life, which has helped me to grow spiritually and emotionally and has prepared me to help others. I am an energetic transformative healer and my greatest wish is to help people discover love, joy and healing within themselves. Akrimios-Orizon is the dream that me, my husband, Petros Kokotsakis and our four children have pursued for many years, in order to create a truly new and all-embracing ‘hosting formula', able to satisfy the needs of many different types of guests coming from all over the world and from all walks of life.
