The space
The apartment is on the sixth floor of a small building in 1900 and has about 30m2 surface (beautiful little period staircase: no elevator:).
The space is atypical and arranged with antiques restored. The arrangement of volumes and materials create a welcoming and warm together.
It consists of an entrance overlooking a central corridor that has a small library and a shelf. A right is a living room / bedroom with a desk, a wardrobe and a sofa bed (futon) for 2 people. This room also has a mezzanine which can sleep a third traveler. On the other side of the corridor is a small kitchen decorated with joy and colors. The apartment also has a bathroom with its amenities: toilet, sink, shower and washing machine.

Guest access
The accommodation is fully available to travelers (except mini closet locked). Free access and possibility of using the kitchen (small oven, toaster, kettle ...), the bathroom (washing machine, shower ...).

Neighborbood Overview:

This part of the 20th arrondissement of Paris and Ménilmontant district in particular is both familial and popular, cosmopolitan and lively. Many artists have their studios in the street (ceramists, graphic artists, illustrators, architects, post production agency cinema artisans and weavers). The apartment is in the same street as the second largest church in Paris (Our Lady of the Cross). Many film shoots have also been made there.

. J'aime rencontrer des nouvelles personnes autour d'un bon café et d'un croissant ; leur dire que la boulangerie en haut, à droite, vers l'église, est la meilleure. Je m'intéresse au cinéma, aux images mouvantes, aux gestes et aux corps en mouvement, à la danse, à l'art contemporain. Et, aussi, à ce qui est visible et ce qui ne l'est pas. Antoine De Saint-Exupéry, dans "Le Petit Prince", fait dire au renard : " (...) l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux". Cela me semble étrangement vrai. . Walter Benjamin dans "Sens unique" écrit : "Je pus d'un coup embrasser du regard tout un quartier extrêmement confus, un réseau de rues que j'avais évité pendant des années, le jour où un être aimé y emménagea. C'était comme si on avait installé à sa fenêtre un projecteur qui révélait le quartier par ses faisceaux lumineux".
