Travel Details from the host -> I'm a friendly former Kids' Corner columnist for The Copenhagen Post newspaper, so I know where to take kids - or avoid them, depending on what kind of holiday you'd like best :o). I'm also principal author of The Xenophobe's Guide to the Danes containing helpful and amusing tips on this lovely country. I'm co-author of Danish Humour - Sink or Swim (an ebook from 2022) and work part-time proofreading for Copenhagen Business School. My grown-up sons live in Copenhagen and you could be lucky enough to catch a concert with their hip-hop band Fuldf Effekt. We travel ourselves and for decades I held customised courses in English before focusing on translating and now air bnb, so I understand customer service and get on with anyone. I've a can-do attitude and have been a Scout all my life, was briefly PR Assistant at the Scout headquarters in London, and now help out as a volunteer. I'm online pretty much all day long to answer odd questions while you're here and we've done our best to furnish the flat so it's comfortable but not cluttered. If you want something specific, just ask and we'll do our best to provide it :o). What do I like? Holidays in France, family time, painting in oils, Downton Abbey, Danish detective films, walking my mini Schnauzer Dr. Watson and babysitting my grandchildren :o). What am I like? Smiley.
