Kunming- Jiaozi Snow Mountain - Dongchuan( L)

Start your full-day tour with pickup at your hotel in Kunming city and meet your guide aboard an air-conditioned private vehicle. It’s a 4 hour drive to Jiaozi Snow Mountain, sit back and enjoy the sceneries along the way. The name Jiaozi, which literally means “sedan chair”, was inspired by the mountain’s shape, as it resembles a traditional bridal sedan chair. Strange peaks, clean water, ice and snow, rhododendron, sea of clouds, sunrise and Buddha light are known as the "seven wonders" of Jiaozi Snow Mountain. Upon arrival, take the shuttle bus and convenient cable car to the mountain, you will first visit different waterfalls and reach Daheiqing, enjoy beautiful Xiaojiang Valley, be amazed by the pine trees, flowers, mountain peaks and enjoy the paronomic view of the area. Spend 2-4 hours explore. Then, you will take the cable car descend.
Enjoy lunch in the local restaurant, then heading to Luoxiagou at Dongchuan Red Land, if time permit, spend time to enjoy beautiful sunset. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your hotel in Dongchuan.
Dongchuan Red Land has the most typical and special red soil on Yunnan highlands. At an altitude of 1,800-2,000 meters (5,900-6,500 feet), the red soil is rich in iron and aluminum, giving it an amazing crimson color.

Dongchuan- Kunming (B, L)

After breakfast in your hotel, meet your guide and start to explore. If you want to capture the sunrise, just let your tour guide know the day before to make arrangement. Damakan is the village where you can enjoy amazing sunrise. Your next stop is Seven-Color Slope where you can find seven fields with seven different colors during certain season. Finally, you will visit Jinxiuyuan where you can find many rolling hills with red fields. Spend some leisure time here to stop for photos to capture the colorful fields, traditional villages, old trees and countrysides. After lunch in the local village, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Kunming.
