The space
The sweet smelling place is a 2-floor cute house. A magic kitchen and a bathroom are located on the ground floor. A beautiful bedroom is on the upper floor together with a small w.c. A small veranda is outside of the bedroom with all necessary facilities to relax and enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine. An outdoor staircase connects the ground floor to the upper.
Sweet smelling house can comfortably accommodate 2 people.
Our place is fully equipped with positiveness and love.

Very close to the house is our famous family restaurant "Sweet smelling kitchen" and we're open for coffee and delicacies everyday from Easter until the end of October. We will be very pleased to welcome you with special offers.

One of the loveliest villages of Paros, Lefkes is situated in the central part of Paros, 11 km south east of Parikia. Lefkes has 500 inhabitants and is built at an altitude of 300 metres above the sea level, on a verdant hill covered with olive trees and pine trees and offers a breathtaking view of Naxos Island.

This beautiful village used to be the capital of Paros during the Middle Ages and is full of little traditional whitewashed houses, mixed with Venetian architecture, wonderful churches dating from the 15th century, whitewashed windmills and beautiful dovecotes. The charm and the beauty of Lefkes are still untouched by mass tourism, which help it maintain its authenticity.

The Church of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity) is the village's main church. This is a beautiful Byzantine church made of fine white marble, glimmering under the sun. Rare and valuable Byzantine icons are housed in this church and are very worth-seeing.

Travel Details from the host -> Originally from Athens. Although, I always loved the country life. I didn't like to live in the city. On 2001, I was wondering if it was the right time to quit my job in Athens and run away from the city. My dream was very close and I thought "if not now, when?". Quitting my job will affect my income but money is never enough to make you happy. So, I said a big YES and joined the team of the family restaurant in Lefkes, "Sweet smelling kitchen". Up to now, I wake up every morning in my paradise and I am feeling blessed. Everything is a real surprise! The nature, the colours, the smells, the cats, the time ... Now, after so many years I haven't changed my mind about the big YES. Our restaurant has expanded and I spend most of the time of the year on the island. But my heart is still beating like I am in love, every time I arrive. I have 6 cats and a dog that I adore. I am a fan of the real food and always searching for traditional recipes. I enjoy the "go slow" mentality of island life, live by the day and never give up my dreams.
