The villa is situated in the picturesque village of Kanala-Kythnos, famous for its church of the “Kanala Panagia”, surrounded by pine trees set at the far end of the village. Visitors have easy access to the village’s restaurants where they can taste the local gastronomy and to seaside bars where they can enjoy the magnificent summer sunsets. All these attractions are within walking distance from the villa, offering a lovely stroll of a maximum 500 meters. In addition, the second largest village on the island, Driopis, is located only 7 klm from Kanala, built amphitheatrically according to the traditional Cycladic architecture, idyllic for an afternoon walk along the paved intertwining alleys or for dinner at one of the many traditional restaurants to experience the local gastronomy. Other destinations on the island include Loutra, Chora and Merihas port with beautiful sand covered beaches, all within close proximity by car.

Travel Details from the host -> I ‘m Vasiliki and I welcome you to beautiful Kythnos island. My professional background is in Finance and Accounting and through my career I have worked with large multinational companies. Me and my husband first visited Kythnos back in 2018 just for a long weekend and experienced an “at first sight love” with the island. This triggered our decision to obtain a permanent summer residence as an escape from the hectic city life. And here we are… following years of travelling around Greece and the world, we found the place we desire in order to spend more and more time as we grow, thus we bought our lovely house and gradually we become part of island’s community. I am pleased to share my experience and my feelings with you, my guests, so that you as well put Kythnos where it deserves : high in your memories and your heart!
