Neighborbood Overview:

Brownstone walk-ups line the streets of Bedford-Stuyvesant and it's a predominantly residential neighborhood with many families and pockets of bustling cafes, classy neighborhood joints and community oriented shops, especially along Tomkins and Nostrand Ave, which are more commercial street only blocks from the apartment. The beautiful Herbert Von King Park is right across the street, where many local neighborhood folks come out to gather in the bandshell, barbeque in the summer, and attend films under the stars. It's one of the most centrally located neighborhoods in Brooklyn, and has the best of both worlds, being located on a quiet street but in close proximity to many local joints having convenient accessibility to public transportation.
