Neighborbood Overview:

The highlight of the neighborhood is the park that gives the neighborhood of Sunset Park its name. To reach the park, walk up 41st street to 7th Av, and you will see the entrance to the park on your left. Stroll through the park and enjoy the views of the harbor. You can see the Statue of Liberty from here. If you go there around dusk, you will see excellent views of the setting sun over the water.

My favorite restaurant in the neighborhood is Tacos El Bronco, on 4th Av and 44th St. Excellent Mexican food. I recommend the chilaquiles with green sauce and the chiles rellenos.

My favorite breakfast spot is Best Coffee Shop, on Fort Hamilton Parkway and 44th St. It is a classic New York style lunch counter. Go there for pancakes, bacon, and eggs. They also make their own donuts.
