The apt is a short walk to Prospect Park. Other close-by attractions include the Brooklyn Museum & Botanical Garden (15 min train ride) as well as Coney Island (Luna Park, etc., a 36 min train ride).

The beach at Jacob Riis Park is 50 min away and a great place to sun & swim and feast on local goods. Home to a restored art deco bathhouse, ball courts, boardwalks, and a mile-long stretch of swimmable ocean, JRP is one of New York City’s coolest beaches.

The area is known as Little Caribbean and is home to the largest and most diverse Caribbean-American-LatinX community outside of the West Indies.
