Our house is located near the centre of Antwerp, in a busy multi-culti neighborhood, a ten min walk from the central train station. Shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, and public transport are all within walking distance.
The house is on a car-free courtyard, and next to a hidden park. My friends tell me they feel like they're in nature when they're in my garden, it's so peaceful.
If you come with kids, be aware that the second bedroom has a steep staircase.
Ideal for four, possibly for more.
The space
There's lots of natural light, and hardwood floors in all the rooms and living space. The house was saved from demolition because someone went on a hunger strike, and it is now in the only original row of houses on the square. It was built towards the end of the 19th century, and continuously maintained and renovated.
