The neighbourhood is really quite and extremely safe even though it's in the centre of Athens. The Lycabettus hill is just 100 meters away from the apartment! The place is really close to big super markets (AB Vasilopoulos, Sklavenitis, Market In and OK Market, that is open till late at night!). Many restaurants and bars are located really close in the neighbourhoods of Exarhia and Kolonaki. It's really safe to walk around at any time!
