The studio is located in the heart of the old city center and only walking distance from the main archaeological sites of Athens. You can enjoy a historical walk, starting from the hill of Filopappou and the ancient ancient Pnyx, then visit the ancient theatre of Herodes, the Acropolis, the Olimpiou Dios Stili and arrive to the Zappio Megaro. From there, visit the National Garden, the Parliament and arrive to Syntagma Square, where you can enjoy the commercial street of Ermou and do your shopping! Keep walking all the way to Plaka, the surroundings of the Acropolis, through the tiny traditional alleys, until you arrive to the Monastiraki Flee Market (Adrianou street) and back to Thissio. From the opposite side of Piraeus Avenue, only 3' away walking distance from the house, you can reach the area of Keramikos / Gazi, where you have various restaurants, bars and cafes as well as the municipality's cultural centre Technopolis!!

Travel Details from the host Living in Thissio for the past 18 years. I am a Film director and photographer, passionate about arts and aesthetics in various fields, from architecture and interior design to painting! I live in a house that i entirely renovated myself, creating my own furniture mainly using wood and bringing back to life old pieces! I love sculpture, traveling, scuba-diving, biking and cooking healthy food with local products for anyone! In my house, furnitures, benches, floors, and everything else have been hand-made or facelifts or rebuilding by my and a friend of mine. The house is in the centre of the old city and distances to Acropolis of Athens, Monastiraki, Plaka, Syntagma, National Gardens, Zappeion, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Pnyx, Kerameikos, National Archaeological Museum, and other historical areas, are from 5 to 15 min walk.. It is also 5 min away from metro stations as Kerameikos and Thissio. Will be pleasure to visit my city!!
