The space
As a family we have known the island of Crete for some time but fell in love with the stunning views, beautiful sunsets and absolute privacy and tranquillity of Kavousi, which produces some of the purest olive oil in the world and is home to the oldest olive tree in Greece (at over 3000 years).

Our property rests on the slopes of the foothills of the Thripti mountains, overlooking Tholos Bay. It is professionally managed and our fabulous managers will be on hand during the duration of your stay should you need them.

THOLOS BEACH: Only 500m from the villas is the stunning Tholos Beach. Head round to the far side of the bay for the best sand and shallow swimming ideal for children. There is also a simple taverna on the beach, serving a good variety of local foods and cold beers. Perfect for a spot of Cretan lunch.

KAVOUSI (5 minutes): A delightful little town with a beautiful village church and a good range of tavernas and cafeneons. It’s worth heading to the square for a relaxing beer and a bite to eat. Kavousi is also the starting point for some fantastic walks as well as boasting the oldest olive tree in Crete at nearly 2000 years old.

MOCHLOS (10 mins): Mochlos is a delightful little fishing village a short distance up the road towards Sitia.
