Its multi-ethnic richness makes it actually a pretty lively place, friendly and welcoming.
It is an urban area, but you can have a walk in the nearby parks ( Sergeant Blandan , Parc de Gerland ... )
Shopping District : bakery, tobacco , supermarkets, pharmacy and many various stores in a 3 mn walk.
