The space
Close to 1821 Square, with its many outdoor cafes, House Minoos is typical of Chania's ancient stone-built artisan houses, stretching over three floors, and with a lovely balcony with views over the nearby sea. The city centre of Chania is a 10-minute walk away.
Many of the original features have been preserved, and there is an enormous and very traditonal Cretan wood-burning fireplace in the kitchen/sitting room. New lighting has been installed throughout (some with Lena's special touches) so that the house is light and bright, and of course there is full air conditioning. There is also a secure safe for residents' use.
House Minoos can sleep 5-6 adults in two double bedrooms, one with an additional single bed, and each with its own shower room, and there is a further bed area downstairs. Children can be fitted in, and remember that little ones stay free at Lena's houses.
