The building is on an unusually quiet street for central Athens, yet it's only a few minutes away from a main avenue. There is a grocery store on the corner where you can get fresh vegetables and supermarket products (open 7 days a week), as well as a cafe 2 minutes away.

Within a few minutes walking distance in the direction of the famous Syntagma Square you have the Megaro Mousikis (Concert Hall) and a lovely park on a hill with a great view over Athens. A few steps further along you have the Military Museum, Byzantine and Christianity Museum. A few blocks further and you have the wonderful Museum of Cycladic Art and the must-see Benaki Museum. As you continue on you will pass through the National Gardens which can be a lovely escape from the lively Athenian streets. You'll then finish in the historic Syntagma Square where you'll find the Greek Parliament. We suggest this as your first walk in Athens! It'll give you a wonderful taste of the city and it won't take long at
