The space
Located 5 kms from the city center of Heraclion, easily accessible by public transportation , taxi or car. We are right on the beach and many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are available nearby. Kazantzakis Int'l Airport is 12 kms away.
Our apartment is brand new, renovated in 2016.
It offers a private balcony with a view to the sea and mountains.
There is a living room with two couches that turn into beds, a large screen TV and airconditioning. The kitchen and living room is an open concept space which offers all the appliances one might need. Full oven and stove, full sized fridge, washing machine, iron and hairdryer. in area-Heraklion, Crete, GreeceThe beach is very close. We do not have a pool but there is a public pool (with a kiddie pool and playground) across the street and the beach is a mere 20 meters away.
There are a variety of beach bar/cafes right on the sand too. The bus runs every 10 minutes into Heraclion. There's a taxi stand close by as well as a wide variety of car rental places too.
The neighborhood is called Ammoudara. It runs the length of very long and sandy beach. There are plenty of water sports, good restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, rent -a-car agencies and night life. A great area to base yourself in Heraclion to branch out and tour the island.
