Tour Itinerary presented by Ye Olde England Tours

At the junction of the famous Oxford Street and the A5 Edgware Road is the triumphal Marble Arch. Nearby is where the infamous Tyburn Tree exception point was located as well as the much less grim Speakers Corner.

A beautiful old church that's now hosts a selection of upmarket eateries. Nearby we will see homes related to The Beatles and other figures.

A quality hotel that was built for very different reasons.

Quirky public gardens with an interesting history and just as quirky rules.

One of the great garden squares of Mayfair and London, until recently home of the American embassy and the site of several American memorials.

Restaurant of famed foul-mouthed London chef!

One of the finest hotels in the world and we'll hear a very Churchillian story about a royal birth here.

Musical legends separated by a couple of centuries but just one dividing walls. Ironically their homes are right next door to each other in this classy part of London.

Hidden courtyards and alleys of high-end restaurants and boutique shops.

Secluded green gardens that were once a working cemetery.

A hidden jewel of Mayfair, One of the most gorgeous churches you will ever see and one that looks much older inside than its 19th century building indicates.

A pub with a very haunted story to tell and just a few yards away from where the Queen was born and Banksy artwork... what more could drinkers want?

A local pub that was once owned by Madonna and Guy Ritchie with regulars including Prince William and Leonardo DiCaprio.

A beautiful square with the oldest Plain trees in London, surrounded by antique shops, luxury car showrooms and all sorts of interesting places.

Once the haunt of the criminal underworld and glitzy Clermont Set and with connections to the infamous Lord Lucan. Since 2020 it has been a remodelled casino and right next door to Annabel's perhaps the most exclusive Price Members Club in London.

One of the exclusive shopping destinations in London and home to many exclusive brands.

Your chance to have your photo taken between Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill and President Roosevelt.

A beautiful old Georgian Shopping Arcade.

A hotel famed for its Presidential visits and important role in the history of telecommunications.

Literally a British Christmas institution and home to many important inventions and discoveries.

On the corner of the historic and fashionable Curzon Street was the home of Harry Selfridge who created the world-renowned Selfridges Department Store on Oxford Street,

Mayfair is now an opulent district of London but it actually started off as a fair... in May until things all got out of hand as these things do!

Whilst much of Mayfair is rather grandiose, this corner is very atmospheric and historic with narrow streets and old pubs and restaurants.

The one-time home of the victorious Duke of Wellington and with a street address of Number 1 London, you know it has to be a bit special.

There are all manner statues and memorials here but the one that always catches the eye is the Wellington Arch.

We leave Mayfair behind us and enter luxurious Belgravia, all owned by possibly the richest landlord in the world... the Duke of Westminster.

Said to be one of the most haunted pubs in London with the original Go-Fund-Me scheme to save a poor ghost.

When many people think of London, they imagine the streets around Belgrave Square. Home to dozens of foreign embassies and the backdrop to many a film and tv show. We'll visit the homes of Emperors and writers along the way and see the spot of perhaps the most infamous British murder of the 20th Century involving the illusive Lord Lucan.

A lovely quaint old pub hidden away from passersby and just round the corner to a tragic moment in Beatles history.

The centre of the Chester Square area and we will also visit the home of Mary Shelley and the Iron Lady herself, Lady Margaret Thatcher as well as the Londons one-time quietest police station!

Another of those fashionable London districts but this one seemingly off the route of most tourists which is just how we like it!

One last district of London, overshadowed by its famous train and coach stations.

Having all ready passed the street of the former homes of Sir Sean Connery and Sir Roger Moore we will see the home of Sir Ian Fleming who created 007 James Bond.
