Our house is a listed neoclassical mansion,built in 1873 in the heart of Ermoupolis, a town renowned for its 19th architecture. It is fully restored and refurbished with care and respect to its history, while modern comforts have been added to it.

The space
We have maintained all the original wooden floors and ceilings in the bedrooms and the marble floors in the rest of spaces. The bathrooms are all marble.The furniture is mostly antique pieces, either inherited or carefully selected and everything in the house reflects its glorious past.
There are five bedrooms, two of which single.The remaining three are double, two with double beds and one with two four-poster beds.
There are three bathrooms, one with bathtub, two with shower.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and adjoining dining room that sits 8-10, and a cosy living room.

Two minutes uphill walk from the main town square around which are all the best cafes and restaurants, a lively local market with fresh produce, stylish little shops and art galleries. The main port is a 5 minute walk. The famous Apollo theater where several musical and theatrical events take place, as well as an international opera festival, is a 3 minute walk. Also within a very short walk there is a lovely spot for swimming in Vaporia neighborhood, the little Venice of Syros.
