Ideal for families who want to lived up to an authentic Parisian experience, in a lively area yet very quiet place, with garden view and access.

The space
The place where we live is a 130 m2, 3-level loft house with a garden-terrace:
- lower level: a large fully-equipped kitchen and dining room, from which you can access the garden-terrace + a laundry room with washing machine and dryer
- middle-level: spacious living room with a chimney (fire wood is available) + 1 bedroom with a double bed (140cm) + toilets
- upper-level: 1 large room with 2 single beds (80*190cm) or one doubled bed (160*190) +1 extra bed possible (airbed 100*190) + bathroom with shower, bathtub, 2 washbasins, toilets

Neighborbood Overview:

Bastille, while being very close to several of the most touristic areas of Paris (le Marais, Notre-Dame...), has kept its authenticity and is a very pleasant district to live and discover.

There is a food market 2 times a week (Thursday and Sunday mornings) and many supermarkets (some organic and even a Marks and Spencer). We also recommend the neighborhood of Aligre and its very famous food market (every day except Mondays), food stores (bakeries, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, caterers, butchers...), restaurants (Septime, Chez Will...) and cafés. Aligre has become a highlight of the new Parisian gastronomy, with very nice places at all prices.

You'll only have to cross the Place de la Bastille to enter the Marais (Place des Vosges is less than 10 mn walk) or access the piers of the Seine river and the charming Port de l'Arsenal (boat cruises on - and under! - the Canal Saint-Martin to La Villette available from there).
