Very practical, it is close to lots of subway station (république, jacques bonsergent, goncourt, colonel fabien) and bus lines. You will get anywhere in Paris within 30 min walking or using the subway.
It's also a very nice area to go out to dinner, and bars, everything is walking distance from the place!
