Within walking distance of the Seine and numerous means of transport it will be the perfect starting point for your discovery of Paris.

The space
As part of a small and peaceful condominium comprising 3 small 4-storey buildings, this apartment is on the top floor (no elevator given the small size of the building). The built-in kitchen is bright and functional. There is a large comfortable living room. Both bedrooms have tables for individual working or reading.

Ideally located between Chinatown and the new very chic Seine Rive Gauche district, our neighbourhood gives you a taste of different aspects of the city: Popular Paris, Hip Paris and Exotic Paris. Our street and the neighbourhood abounds with food stores and exotic restaurants: Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Morrocan, but also Italian and French restaurants.

We are close to the banks of the Seine and the numerous restaurants and night clubs that are open there in the Summer.

The Simone de Beauvoir footbridge over the Seine takes you straight into Bercy Park, known for its gardens and 15,000 capacity Accor Hotels Arena. The neighbourhood is dotted with numerous small parks.

Night life is plentiful here. From Bercy Village (Cour Saint-Emilion) to Mouffetard, the Butte-aux-Cailles district and the banks of the Seine, you’ll be able to enjoy the café terraces, restaurants and night clubs. Party-goers and clubbers will love Wanderlust,

Parisienne depuis 50 ans, je suis traductrice anglais/français, mariée à Terence qui est Irlandais et lui-même traducteur vers l'anglais. Nous avons deux enfants et deux petits-enfants. Cet appartement est notre résidence principale. Nous remettons tout juste notre appartement en location après la période Covid. Nous aimons la vie parisienne, les balades dans la ville, les soirées entre amis, les sorties, les cinés, les théâtres et les restos. Nous apprécions aussi la nature et les voyages, en Irlande, bien sûr, mais aussi à l'autre bout du monde au Japon ou en Inde. Nous sommes ravis de partager notre petit coin de paradis avec des voyageurs de toutes origines et de mettre à leur disposition notre ambiance, nos lectures et nos films. Vous pourrez profiter également de la télévision grand écran et du piano. I’ve been living in Paris for 50 years now, am an English to French translator, married to Terence who is Irish and himself a translator. We have two children and 2 grand-children. We have just started to re-rent the apartment after the long Covid epidemic. We love life in Paris, walks around the city, evenings with friends, outings, movies, theatre and restaurants. We also love nature and travel. We’ve been to Ireland (of course!) but also as far as Japan, India and the USA. We are delighted to share our little part of paradise with travellers of all origins and to share with you a large selection of our favourite books and dvds We also have a large screen TV set and a piano but just keep a thought for the Neighbors!
