Typical Parisian 30 square meters appartment near Nation, 100 meters from metro 1

The space
27 square meters of pure Parisian : wood parquet, tiles, molding, 2 fireplaces. All that in a quiet neighborhood 120 meters (true!!) from metro 1 (Bastille, Marais, Louvre, Champs Elysées, respectively 7, 10, 15 and 30 minutes away from the apartment) and tramway 3 (La Villette, Buttes Chaumont, La Mouzaïa, Parc Daumesnil, Bercy, Butte aux Cailles ...)
I have a fully furnished kitchen with an oven and dishwasher. There's one (120 X 190 cm, extra comfy) bed, bookcase and wardrobe in the bedroom. There's a (new) pull-out couch (100 X 175 cm) and 6 persons table in the living room. The 2 fireplaces don't work but it's forbbiden to use them anyway. The appartment is always sunny (there are extra thick curtains on the windows to be able to sleep after sunrise) but it stays cool in the summer.
I'm on the 4th floor (no elevator) on the courtyard side.

Neighborbood Overview:

My neighborhood is peacefull so you'll sleep well. If you want to go to a restaurant, there are many (non touristic) 5 minutes away, on avenue Saint Mandé and Cours de Vincennes. There's also a supermarket 5 minutes away, and a market 10 minutes away (wednesday and saturday mornings on cours de Vincennes, between rue du Docteur Netter and Nation).

Mon quartier est calme, vous dormirez bien. Si vous voulez aller au restaurant, il y en a plein (non touristiques) à 5 minutes à pieds, sur l’avenue Saint Mandé et le Cours de Vincennes.
Il y a aussi un supermarché à 5 minutes, et un marché à 10 minutes (mercredi et samedi matin, sur le cours de Vincennes, entre la rue du Docteur Netter and Nation).

Travel Details from the host

I love traveling, seeing/ experiencing new things, taking a million pictures, listening to "old americans" music (Bob Dylan, Sixto Rodriguez, The Band, Bruce Springsteen, the Stones, etc), reading, going to museums and walking in Paris. I also love "hosting" my friends from other parts of France/ Europe when they come and visit Paris. I always try to make it a nice stay for them, cooking prior to their visit (to be able to have something to eat whenever we want) and trying to make plans of visits... I'd like to do the same for you ! I am fluent in English ( still have a french accent but it's not too bad) cause I was an aupair in England when I was younger, and I also was an exchange student in New Orleans (and also cause I only listen to American music and love to travel in the US or Europe and staying in hostels).
