The villa is located in the small traditional village of Xirokampi. In the village there is a traditional, family tavern just 200m form the property where you can taste homemade traditional dishes. The closest mini market and the beach of Maleme are 4 km far from the property. The touristic and very active village of Platanias is about 8km far and there you can find many restaurants, bars, disco, shops, big market. The fantastic and unmissable city of Chania is 19 km away, Chania airport 39 km and Heraklion airport 158 km. Car rental is necessary. It is very easy to go to the most beautiful and famous beaches of Crete [ Elafonissi, Falasarna, Balosetc] and that is because the villa is very near the highway, without even passing through the very crowded village of Platanias or the city of Chania, avoiding the traffic jam.
