Antwerp's South has it all: loads of restaurants (all types of food & price ranges), nice bars on the corner of every street, interesting musems (Fine Arts, Contemporary Arts, Photo museum, galleries), the newly renovated pedestrian Scheldt Quays, several parks with playgrounds for children (New South, Konijnenwei, Vlaamse Kaai), fine architecture (new Justice Palace, KMSKA, Het Bootje, Lambertmontplaats,... ). Off course, Antwerp has much more to offer, but if don't feel like looking too far, than South will surely offer you all that you need.
