The apartment is located a few meters from the beach, with a wonderful full sea view and a huge balcony. It is ideal for family vacations with children, since it includes 1 double room (with a king size bed) and 1 room for children or kids (with a single bed which can be used for an adult as well). A very nice beach, ideal for children, is located just below the apartment. The pitturesque old city of Rethymno, with more beaches, is 10 minutes walk by the seaside, passing by the bus station (5').

This is a mixed residential and hotel area (one 5 star hotel is located just near the apartment), with a nice small beach just a few meters below (you can see it from the balcony of the apartment), ideal especially for children, since it is very shallow and protected like a pool. A bigger beach is located to the west, 10 minutes walk for the apartment. The old city of Rethymno (you can see it from the balcony of the apartment, to the east) is located 10 minutes walk to the east and it has all available for food and nightlife. The closest area for food to the apartment is the square of the Prefecture of Rethymno (Nomarchia), again 10 minutes walk, going toward the Venetian fortress of Rethymno, Fortezza, and to the right after the football ground of Rethymno. There is also a tavern by the sea just near to the bus station, in the same direction of the fortress of Rethymno (5 minutes walk), and a big organic market just nearby.
