The town of Kissamos is 8 km from the villa and local attractions include Balos Lagoon, Kedrodasos Beach and Kedar Forest, the Ancient City of Polyrinia, the Archaeological Museum of Kissamos, and the unique Komolithi geologic formations.

The town is home to several taverns with local fare and a few trendy cafés. "The old Tsegas," a popular fish tavern, is just 7.3 km from the villa. The Health Center of Kissamos is 9.2 km away and Chania city, a picturesque city known for its beautiful architecture, is just over 60 km away. This famous Cretan resort city is also home to the Chania International Airport and the St. George General Hospital.
