This is our newly refurbished 85 sq.m. 2-bedroom penthouse apartment located in Kynosargous area close to Acropolis area. The highlight of the flat is its terrace where you can enjoy every hour of the day.
The space
The apartment is located on the third floor of a historic neoclassical building of the 1920s. During WWII the building was taken over and used as guard post as it was the highest building in the area. Please keep in mind that there is no lift available in the building.
It's a lovely apartment which comprises of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a dining area, an open plan kitchen fully equipped by a professional chef (this is me!), a bathroom and a superb terrace with a charcoal barbecue. There is also a modern fireplace where you can enjoy your Metaxa on a cold Athenian night.

For breakfast, you can enjoy traditional Greek pastries and coffee from any of the three bakeries in the neighborhood. We would recommend that you try tyropita and spanakopita from the Αρτο...ζυμια bakery located 100m from the building.
For lunch/dinner, we highly recommend that you try the Greek pita gyro from Empeiro, located 90m from the building, for take-away or delivery (Irakleous 28, Athens).
For after-hours, just one-minute walk from the building, you can enjoy Greek music and drinks at one of the most well-known bars in Athens, Batman Bar from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (Theodoritou Vresthenis 40). Please bear in mind that smoking is permitted in the premise.
