This studio is part of an apartment hotel, Esplanade Apartments. The story of this hotel begins in 1960. Back then, my father Michael, emigrated to Canada with an aim. When he was going to return, he would build his own family hotel. Having been born and raised abroad I know how important it is for someone to feel comfortable at his place of staying. So, I always try to do my best for my guests and make them feel like home.
The space
A spacious and bright apartment with a balcony overlooking the garden and the mountain.
The apartment has air conditioning, kitchen, wifi, ethernet and all necessary essentials. Beds are single and on request they can become a large double, King size.
Guest access
There is access to the pool where sun loungers are provided as well as a shower. A separate pool for children is available. There is also plenty of parking space outside the property.

The accommodation is located in Kalathas and the Akrotiri peninsula. The area of Akrotiri is especially suitable for couples and families with children who want a quiet, comfortable, seaside stay near the town with easy access to the highway so that they can explore the other beauties of Chania prefecture and Crete.
The beaches
In Akrotiri, within 5 to 10 minutes by car, there are many different beaches depending on the wishes of each guest. Almost all have a blue flag.
Beaches for families and couples are the beaches of Kalathas, Marathi and Loutraki. The latter, though smaller than the rest, is prefered by the locals as it combines a calm family atmosphere and a lifestyle for young people.
Also, there is the beach of Stavros, where the famed scene of "Sirtaki" of the multiple awarded film Zorbas the Greek was filmed. Finally, only 20 minutes away from the property by car is the small, hidden beach with the blue and crystal clear waters, Seita
