The space
The house has two bedrooms, big veranda and a large living room with kitchen. The living room contains all the comforts, desk with personal computer(Wifi), comfortable sofas, fireplace, Tv, air condition and some musical instruments for music lovers! In the same room is the kitchen with all the necessary accessories, oven, espresso machine etc., there is also a washing machine. It has two bedrooms, the first has a double bed, wardrobes, air condition and Tv while in the second bedroom there is a single bed and a double bed with wardrobes and air condition as well. In the veranda you can enjoy your coffee and see the view of the village and the various landscapes like mountain Psiloritis! Alfa village is a quiet traditional village in the province of Mylopotamos Rethymno. Is known for the unique white stone used in the construction of the houses and for their decoration! Is also known for the great Cretan music artist Konstantinos Mountakis, who was born here and in his memory is held every summer, folk Cretan music festival! Alfa is near to Perama(5km) a town with all comforts, as big super markets, banks, post office, gas station, ATM, pharmacies, hospital, police and fire department! There are also near some interesting villages you have to explore as Eleftherna(5km) with ancient city and necropolis and the new museum! Margarites village(5km) known of its pottery tradition! Panormos village(12km) is a small town near the sea, with nice beaches and many tavernes, cafes! Near to Alfa is also the historic monastery Arkadi(13km).
